Why Farol.
Farol is Portuguese for lighthouse. The coast is lined with them, from the Minho to Cabo de São Vicente.
A lighthouse is the first light you see from the sea, and it guides you safely to harbour. That is the role we want to play: first a clear source of information, then a team and trusted partners who help you buy, invest or sell well.
Behind Farol.
Farol Property was founded in 2024 in Lisbon. You have the same contact from the first message to the deed, with a skilled team and trusted partners behind it.
We work with a small network of trusted partners in renovation, law and tax. So every property is looked at twice: as a home to sell or buy, and as a building that may need work, with a cost you can plan for.
How we work when you sell.

A call about your situation, your timing and what you want to keep. No cost, no commitment.
- Value
A realistic price from recent sales nearby, and an estimate of your costs, to confirm with your accountant.
- Prepare
Documents, energy certificate, small fixes and photos, handled while you are abroad.
- Close
Negotiation, promissory contract and deed, in person or by power of attorney.
- After
Tax deadlines, utilities, keys, and a renovation plan if you bought.
